Brief description and schedule:
9:00 – Departure from Grožnjan (in front of the parish church of St. Vitus, Modestus, and Crescentia)
- A short tour of the Chapel of St. Cosmas and Damian with its 16th-century loggia, the Church of St. Nicholas at the town cemetery, and the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, featuring unique frescoes and paintings.
- Walk along the former Parenzana railway route, stopping at the world’s smallest chapel, carved from a tree trunk with a tiny wooden statue of Our Lady.
- Continue along a forest path to the church and local Saints Primus and Felicianus cemetery in Čirkoti; a brief prayer stop before heading toward Završje.
11:30 – Arrival in Završje (in front of the parish church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary).
- Half-hour break with refreshments, the Angelus prayer, and additional prayers as arranged with guests.
- Meet the curator of the Museum of Folk Instruments, the guardian of sacred and cultural heritage, and enjoy a scene inspired by Robin Hood’s life and adventures.
12:30 – Walk from Završje to the next destination, the village of Šterna and the parish church of St. Michael the Archangel
- Visit the Istrian Desert Piski and arrive at the final destination, the local church of St. Cantius with its village cemetery. This church offers panoramic views and fresh pine-scented air.
