Prayer:

Blessed St. Peter! Because of your living and generous faith, profound humility, and passionate love, Jesus honoured you with special marks of His favour and priority over all the apostles, entrusting you with supreme authority over the entire Church, of which you became the foundational rock. Obtain the grace of living faith and the strength never to be ashamed to profess that faith publicly but to be ready to endure suffering to prove my loyalty to the Savior. Amen.
